Lexie and Matthew celebrated their Valentine’s Day winter wedding at The Venue at Edgewood surrounded by family, romance, and the quiet beauty of the woods. Located near Townville, this Upstate venue was the perfect setting for their elegant yet nature-inspired wedding day.
From the moment I arrived, you could feel how meaningful the day was to everyone involved. Lexie had always dreamed of a wedding that felt both woodsy and elegant, and every detail—from the ceremony setting to the soft Valentine’s Day touches—brought that vision to life.
Getting Ready
The day began with Lexie getting ready surrounded by her closest friends and family. There was a calm excitement in the air as everyone prepared for the ceremony.
The bridal suite at The Venue at Edgewood in Townville, SC offers beautiful natural light, which made it the perfect space for capturing those quiet, emotional moments before the day officially began.
Lexie looked stunning in her gown, and when she finally stepped into it, you could see how excited everyone was for what the day would hold.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony took place surrounded by the trees that make The Venue at Edgewood such a unique Upstate South Carolina wedding venue.
Winter weddings in South Carolina have a special kind of charm. The cool February air, the peaceful wooded setting, and the intimate gathering of family made the ceremony feel incredibly personal.
As Lexie walked down the aisle toward Matthew, there were tears and smiles all around. It was one of those moments where you could truly feel how much love surrounded them.
Valentine’s Day Wedding Details
Because their wedding took place on February 14th, subtle Valentine’s Day elements were woven throughout the celebration.
Romantic details, elegant décor, and warm candlelight created a cozy atmosphere that perfectly complemented the winter wedding setting in Townville, South Carolina.
The venue’s natural wooded surroundings paired beautifully with the elegant design Lexie envisioned as a little girl.
Reception Celebration
After the ceremony, everyone gathered to celebrate Lexie and Matthew with dinner, dancing, and heartfelt speeches.
One of my favorite things about this wedding was how family-centered the entire day was. Every toast, every hug, and every laugh showed just how loved these two are.
It was the perfect way to celebrate a beautiful Valentine’s Day wedding in Upstate South Carolina.
