This intimate Glassy Mountain Chapel wedding day was an absolute DREAM! <3
Alexis and Dillon are meant to be together. We did their engagement shoot in downtown Greenville and the love that radiates from these two is amazing. We had such a great time getting to know them then and their wedding day was even sweeter, knowing them for months. It truly felt like showing up and photographing a friend's wedding. We have loved getting to become friends with Alexis and Dillon. We've loved watching them grow together before and after their wedding day. I'm so happy for them and I'm so honored they picked us for their wedding journey!
We started with getting ready at their Airbnb in Greenville. We did both of their getting-ready photos and details, photos of Alexis with the girls, and Dillon with the guys! I loved hanging her dress on the porch, the style of the home and just the vibe, in general, was perfect! We also did their photos on the front porch, so pretty! After getting ready we headed out to Classy Mountain Chapel.
This was our first wedding at Glassy Mountain Chapel! Alexis and Dillon originally chose Pretty Place for their wedding, but things changed and they changed their venue! By the end of the day, they said they were not disappointed about swapping venues! I was ecstatic when they told me about Glassy Mountain Chapel, it was one of our bucket list locations to shoot at! When we arrived, the chapel and view were breathtaking!! Even photos don't do it justice.
After we got inside, Alexis got in her dress and we got ready for their first look! We asked all the guests, friends, and family to step outside the chapel during their first look. It was such a sweet moment just between the two of them. First looks and first touches are one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. It's the one part of the day that we get to witness their love and emotions personally. It's always the sweetest moment.
We did their ceremony, family photos, and bride and groom photos at the chapel before heading out for their small reception! Their reception was at Pangaea Brewery in Greenville, SC. They had food and drinks, cut their cake, and did some toasts. It was a special small reception, I think this entire day represented Alexis and Dillon so well!
We loved getting to be such a huge part of this special day for them. Getting to celebrate their love with their closest friends and families. It was an amazing day and such an honor to be there!
